The Audit Foundation, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the safest environment for the banking community.
How do we do it?
The Audit Foundation focuses on providing exceptional IS Audit services at a fair price to community-focused Financial Instutions. Larger accounting firms, such as RSM McGladrey and Protiviti, due to their overhead and focus on larger banks, often cannot afford to provide the services these unique Institutions require, and therefore either charge these smaller Institutions fees comparable to larger banks or pass them by. In the latter case, due to the regulatory pressure to have regular external IS Audit events, smaller Institutions can either be forced to pay the excessive fees, or turn to smaller, local un-qualified "Technology and Hardware Firms," who see an opportunity to generate high-margin revenue. Many times the results of these smaller firms are less than adequate.
Auditor Qualifications
All Audit Foundation Audit Services are performed by qualified Auditors with credentials such as the CISA, CISM, GSNA and CISSP. In addition, the Auditors have direct experience in the community banking sector.
Client Qualifications
Every chartered community-focused Financial Institution, in good standing with their regulator, has the opportunity to utilize Audit Foundation services. We reserve the right to refuse services, if a financial institution does not meet our criteria.
We invite you to join our efforts, either as a community bank taking part in our programs or as a contributor, who has expertise and passion in these areas.
