Audit Services - Basic Programs |
Our programs are designed by experienced community bankers, who understand many of the unique risks that the community banking industry is routinely exposed to. The Audit Foundation offers two basic programs;
1. External Security Assessment
The external security assessment program targets 300-800M financial institutions, which wish to maintain their current “General Controls” type of Audits, but reduce their external technically-oriented audit costs.
This program includes;
*Quarterly external vulnerability assessment including;
*Technical (Internet access point)
*Social Engineering (email, phone, physical)
*Semi-Annual technical penetration exercises
*Annual internal vulnerability assessments (onsite visit)
2. Community Banking IS Audit Program
The Community Banking IS Audit program targets sub-300M banks, with an emphasis on 10-50M, which require Risk Assessment type activities. This program, in addition to the activities provide for in the External Security Assessment, includes an onsite visit to perform an IS General Controls Review (commonly referred to as a Risk Assessment).
Costs
Though a non-profit, we still have operating costs. We keep our fees as low as possible and scale them based on the asset size of the organization. We believe our fees are affordable to all banks. For example the cost for a 10-50M bank to utilize the Community Banking IS Audit program is $2000.
