The performance of the community banking sector directly affects the individual health, education, social and economic well-being of each American. These Institutions directly and indirectly impact the conditions that contribute to a well-performing private sector and
America’s sustained economic vitality and competitiveness.
The Audit Foundation believes that technical Audit services such as external penetration testing and technology risk assessments should not be seen as commercial opportunities, but as basic services that this industry requires to maintain its well-being. As a result, the Audit Foundation provides these services at minimal cost to community-focused Financial Institutions, using innovative tools, industry standard practices and qualified Auditors.
Our programs are designed by individuals from the community banking world who, thru their direct experience and insight, believe that these services can help each bank demonstrate that they are being diligent, to their shareholders, customers and regulators, in protecting their customer’s money and information.
As a non-profit organization, the Foundation is not governed by the commercial interests who drive the majority of the current external audit industry. Our role is to help protect this critical sector of the American economy, one bank at a time.
